Big WPT Global Field in Day 1B of WPT World Championship

Opening day of the $15 Million Guarantee WPT World Championships at Wynn Las Vegas produced a huge 615-entry field with a number of WPT Global qualifiers competing.

Sihao Wang bagged the biggest Day 1A stack among WPT Global qualifiers moving on to Day 2 in the World Championship. Wang's 440,000 is the No. 30 stack among who advance to Day 2 from the opening tournament flight.

WPT Global Ambassador Xuan Liu - at 300,000 - and qualifier Conor Bergin at 111,000 are the other players with WPT Global ties who advanced from Day 1A on to Day 2.

Justin Bonomo bagged a monster 1,011,000 stack, leading the 234 players moving on to Thursday's Day 2. The WPT reporting team has a full slate of live updates for the entire tournament. Follow all the action here.

There's also a large number of players in the Day 1B field receiving entries via WPT Global Ambassadors who won entries and then offered drawings for tournament entries.
