Marcelo Giordano

Marcelo Giordano is one of the most prominent players in Brazilian poker. He has won over 50 trophies in live tournaments and earned more than $200,000 in online poker. 

How did he discover the game? In 2006, while playing with friends for snacks and soft drinks. He fell in love with it, began studying and dedicating himself, and in 2024, he celebrated 10 years as a professional player.

Giordano has won titles that few can claim: he is the Brazilian player with the most cash prizes in a single WSOP edition — 19 ITMs in 2019. He also reached 5^th place in a tournament worth a bracelet at the WSOP Las Vegas, has a WSOP Circuit São Paulo championship ring, and made it to the FT at the WPT Voyage 2024, among other notable trophies.

In online poker, the expert also won the Triple Crown three times. Today, he is the head coach and partner of the FLOW POKER TEAM, one of the biggest teams in Brazil.

Giordano is at the forefront of national poker media and is one of the key figures contributing significantly to the popularization of poker in the country. He has been a commentator for Band Sports and other poker programs and is a frequent guest on podcasts and has featured in hundreds of articles in the poker media. He was also one of the participants in the first poker reality show in the country, Big Player Brazil.
