Phil Ivey is arguably the greatest poker player of all time with 10 WSOP gold bracelets, one WPT title, and over $40 Million in career tournament winnings. Whether it be tournaments, cash games, Hold’em or 7 Card Stud, Ivey excels at all forms of poker and is always adding to his legacy.
Getting his start playing poker in Atlantic City casinos when he was only a teenager, Phil Ivey would eventually become one of poker’s phenoms and most popular players.
Ivey’s all-round poker prowess is borne out by the number of WSOP events he has won across various variants, earning bracelets in PLO, 7 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud Hi-Lo, SHOE, NL 2-7, HORSE, and 8-Game Mix. Amazingly, despite his legendary proficiency in Hold ‘Em, Ivey has yet to win gold in the most popular poker game.
Away from the tournament circuit, Ivey is one of the most feared cash game players around, playing for nosebleed stakes against any opponent, whether in Las Vegas, Macau, or online.
