WPT® is back on the Las Vegas Strip, and it's bringing a seven-figure guarantee with it.
The $5,000 WPT® Venetian Las Vegas Fall Championship is going to go from the 5th of November until the 10th, 2026. The venue will be the famous Venetian Resort. There's a bunch of highlights too. There is a $2,000,000 guarantee, three starting flights, and a livestreamed final table.
It headlines a Fall Festival going from October 28 – November 15. There is roughly $4 million in combined guarantees, and it's the tour's last marquee Vegas stop. That is, the last stop before the season-ending WPT® World Championship.
Here are the essentials, how to get in for less, and what to watch.
The Championship is a $5,000 buy-in event with a $2,000,000 guarantee. That's the floor. So, expect the prize pool to climb past it once the three flights combine.
For a Main Tour title and a shot at a prize pool that size, $5,000 with multiple Day 1 bullets is about as accessible as a WPT® Championship gets.
The winner joins the WPT® Champions Club, the tour's roll of honour, alongside the trophy and WPT® Player of the Year points. You'll need to be 21 or older and hold a Venetian Rewards card to play the Championship or its satellites.
The structure gives you three bites at reaching Day 2:
Day | Date |
|---|---|
Day 1A | Wednesday, November 5 |
Day 1B | Thursday, November 6 |
Day 1C | Friday, November 7 |
Day 2 | Saturday, November 8 |
Day 3 | Sunday, November 9 |
Final table | Monday, November 10 |
You can fire one flight or all three.
Worth noting - the flights are reported to be bag-and-done. This means once you successfully bag chips in a flight, you're locked into that stack. Therefore you can't re-enter a later Day 1 to try for a bigger one. If that holds, it rewards getting a Day 1 right rather than firing repeatedly. Confirm the re-entry rules on the official structure sheet before you plan.
You don't have to put up the full $5,000.
The Venetian is running $550 satellites across the festival. The target is build your stack to 200,000 chips and you win a seat into the Championship on the spot. It's the value route if you'd rather spin up a qualifier than buy in directly.
Check the Venetian/WPT® schedule for exact satellite times. Also, confirm the current chip target before you sit down.
Can it blow past the $2M guarantee? Recent Venetian WPT® turnouts say yes.
The July 2025 WPT® Venetian Championship drew 1,153 entries, with Nico Betbese winning $706,960 for his first WPT® Main Tour title. Even the February 2026 Spring Championship built a prize pool north of $2 million. If recent trends are anything to go by, it's likely it can blow past $2M.
The in-form names. Nicholas Seward won that Spring Championship for $418,700 and has been one of the hotter tournament players around since. Watch for him and the Venetian regulars, as it's home ground business.
A $5,000 buy-in can have top mid-stakes grinders and ambitious recreational players. There’s a real chance that anybody could take it home.
The Champions Club spot. Alongside the cash payout, you get the title. A place in the WPT® Champions Club and a name that stays on the tour's honour roll.
The Venetian is WPT®'s final marquee Las Vegas stop before the season-ending WPT® World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas. The festival opens November 27 and builds to the $10,400 Main Event in December. A deep run at the Venetian is a natural springboard into the biggest event of the WPT® year.
It gives momentum, confidence, and in some cases a ticket to the next table.
It also caps a loaded Season 24 Vegas run-in. A run-in that's already delivered WPT® Prime Cyprus and the still-to-finish Bay 101 Shooting Star. The Venetian is the last big field before the whole tour converges on Wynn.
The festival around it (October 28 – November 15) has something at nearly every buy-in. For example, an $1,100 No-Limit Hold'em with a $500,000 guarantee, seniors events, $300 bounty tournaments and daily action throughout.
If you're in Vegas for the Championship, there's a full slate to fill the days around your flights.
