Fintan Hand Joins WPT® Global as an Official Ambassador
Fintan Hand joined WPT® Global earlier this year as an official ambassador, marking a new chapter for one of the most recognizable faces in the online poker streaming space.
Over the past decade, he has built a large audience and become one of the most visible poker streamers under his alias EasyWithAces.
Hand announced the partnership in early January 2026, shortly after ending his eight-year run with PokerStars. He explained that WPT® Global’s plans for poker in Ireland played a major role in his decision to join.
A New Chapter
Hand joined PokerStars Team Online in July 2017 and remained with the platform for more than eight years. During that time he developed a strong presence on Twitch under the screen name EasyWithAces, streaming online tournaments, interacting heavily with viewers, and hosting community events.
When announcing his departure from PokerStars in November 2025, Hand thanked the company for the opportunity and said the partnership had helped make his poker dreams possible.
In the months since joining WPT® Global, Hand has already featured the platform regularly in his streams and reported winning his first tournament on the site shortly after signing.
A Streamer With Tournament Credentials
While Hand is best known for his streaming career, he also has a solid tournament résumé.
According to The Hendon Mob, he has recorded more than $400,000 in live tournament earnings, with a career-best score of $158,394 for finishing third in the €3,000 Mystery Bounty at the European Poker Tour Barcelona.
His online résumé includes three SCOOP titles:
- 2020 — $73,653
- 2021 — $232,156
- 2022 — $119,046
He also captured the UKIPT Edinburgh Main Event title for £44,200.
Those results, combined with his streaming reach, have helped establish Hand as one of the most recognizable Irish figures in modern online poker.
What Hand Brings to the WPT® Global Team
WPT® Global already features a roster that includes established professionals and well-known poker personalities. Hand adds a slightly different dimension to that lineup.
With more than 136,000 Twitch followers, he brings creator credibility in a format that remains central to poker culture: live streaming. His content regularly features online tournament sessions, community interaction, and behind-the-scenes views of the modern poker grind.
At the same time, his tournament results provide competitive legitimacy. That combination allows him to bridge the gap between creator-led poker content and the competitive tournament scene.
Strengthening WPT® Global’s Connection to Ireland
Hand’s signing also aligns with WPT® Global’s growing presence in Ireland.
Before he joined the ambassador roster, the company had already begun building relationships in the Irish poker scene. In 2024, WPT® Global partnered with JP Poker Card Club & Casino, offering online satellites and qualifiers tied to live events in Dublin.
Ireland has also featured prominently in the broader WPT® ecosystem through collaborations with events such as the Dublin Poker Festival, where online qualifiers were promoted alongside live tournaments.
Hand highlighted that connection when discussing the move, noting that WPT® Global’s plans for poker in Ireland helped convince him to join the brand.
The Irish connection runs deep for Hand.
He began his career in Dublin’s poker scene and previously worked at the Fitzwilliam Casino before transitioning fully into poker and streaming. In interviews surrounding the Irish Poker Open, he has spoken about being proud of his Irish roots and wanting to help showcase Ireland on the global poker stage.
A Strong Start on the Platform
Shortly after joining WPT® Global, Hand reported winning his first tournament on the platform, sharing the result with his audience on social media.
While early results do not define a long-term partnership, the quick win provided a positive start to his time with the brand.
Looking Ahead
With Hand joining the ambassador roster, WPT® Global adds one of poker’s most recognizable streaming voices at a time when creator-led content continues to shape how fans engage with the game.
Hand’s streams now regularly feature WPT® Global tournaments and promotions as part of his content schedule.
For the operator, it brings a well-known Irish creator into the fold at a time when the company is expanding its connections with the Irish poker scene.
In short, the signing adds a creator with both audience reach and tournament credibility while giving WPT® Global a strong Irish voice as it continues building its connection with the Irish poker community.
