Bet on Premier League Football

Do you like to bet on sports? The Premier League season started with a bang last weekend, and WPT® Global’s Sportsbook has you covered for all your sports betting needs ahead of the second round of matches.
The first game of the weekend sees Manchester United (2.51) travel to Brighton (2.43). There were some positives for United boss Erik Ten Hag in last week’s win against Fulham, with a clean sheet for a team that leaked goals last season, and new signing Josh Zirkzee coming off the bench to grab the winner.

On the flip side, scraping a narrow 1-0 win with a late goal hasn’t convinced everyone that United are going to challenge at the top of the table this season, and they head to the South Coast as underdogs, despite winning here 2-0 on the final day of last season.

Brighton were impressive on the Premier League’s opening weekend, winning 3-0 at Everton under 31-year-old debutant boss Fabian Hurzeler. With these two teams looking so closely matched, perhaps the draw (3.70) will tempt shrewd punters.

Champions Manchester City started the season with an impressive win at Chelsea, and are red hot favourites for another three points at home to newly-promoted Ipswich. City are as short as 1.07 to see off the Tractor Boys, who battled hard before succumbing 2-0 at home against Liverpool last weekend.

Anyone predicting a shock away win here can back Ipswich at 19.0, with a 1-0 away win a massive 72.0. City to win by 3+ goals is only 1.52, though any City win-to-nil is a tempting 1.61.

The Premier League's Saturday evening game sees two of last season’s top four face off, with Aston Villa (3.90) taking on Arsenal (1.78), as both looking for a second successive win of the new season.

Despite their favouritism, Arsenal lost home and away to Villa last season without scoring a goal, and Villa to carry on that trend and win-to-nil here is a juicy 8.30. Villa to keep a clean sheet is 5.70, while the usually defensively sound Arsenal are 2.77 not to concede.

In terms of the correct score, a 1-1 draw is shortest price at 7.90, with the traditional 1-0 to the Arsenal at 8.30. Villa to win by the same score is priced at 14.0.

On Sunday, Liverpool (1.23) host Brentford (9.60), a team they beat 3-0 at home and 4-1 away last season.

The Reds to win by 3+ goals again is 2.45, and after an impressive attacking display at Ipswich last weekend, it’s hard to see past Liverpool following up that 2-0 win with another three points.

Brentford also started the new season with a win though, beating Crystal Palace 2-1, and have made a habit of beating the big boys. With Arne Slot still bedding in as Liverpool manager, could the Bees sting the Reds at Anfield?
