Bet on This Week’s Football and EPL Games With WPT Global

The English Premier League (EPL) is back this weekend, and the WPT® Global Sportsbook has you covered for all your football betting needs.

Spurs face Arsenal in the North London Derby on Sunday, the biggest game of this weekend and one of the most hotly anticipated match-ups all season. Will North London be white or red on Sunday?

Despite being the visitors to The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Arsenal start favourites (2.19), with the hosts 2.87 and the draw priced at 3.65.

Both teams lost their 100% records last time out, Arsenal only managing a draw at home to Brighton in a game featuring a controversial sending off for Declan Rice, while Spurs got their usual beating at St James’ Park against Newcastle.

Arsenal hold the upper hand all-time against their closest rivals, winning 71 league games to 55, with 48 draws. There were goals galore in games between these two last season, the Gunners winning away 3-2, while drawing at the Emirates 2-2.

Spurs fans will welcome the suspension of midfield enforcer Rice, so impressive in England’s two wins in the Nations League, and hope that helps open up an Arsenal defence only breached once all season, and that was after Rice’s Brighton dismissal.

Can Spurs taste victory against Arsenal for the first time since 2022, or will Arsenal win on their bitter rivals' territory for the third straight season? Will the recent trend for high scoring games continue, or could there be a first goalless draw in 15 years. Hit the WPT Global Sportsbook to back your opinion.

Elsewhere in the Premier League, Macthday 4 starts with Manchester United’s (1.74) trip to newly-promoted Southampton (4.00).

United have not impressed so far this season while losing their last two, having scraped a win in the season opener against Fulham.

The Saints, however, found acclimatising to the trials of the Premier League perhaps tougher than imagined. Suffering three straight defeats with just one goal scored is not the start they were hoping for after promotion.

Liverpool (1.22) are hot favourites to continue their 100% start to the season against Nottingham Forest (9.20) at Anfield.

There has not been a draw between these two teams this century, and it is a longshot this weekend at 6.30.

Liverpool have won the last three games between these two teams, but Forest have beaten the Merseyside team within the past two years, and this could be a game for big price hunters to scan through the markets with perhaps Forest being slightly underestimated.

Other Premier League games this weekend include:

  • Brighton v Ipswich
  • Crystal Palace v Leicester
  • Fulham v West Ham
  • Manchester City v Brentford
  • Aston Villa v Everton
  • Bournemouth v Chelsea
  • Wolves v Newcastle
